I was in London, that mighty heart, for what seemed like ten minutes last weekend. But, oh! What a ten minutes it was! For (apart from having such an interesting time with my cousin and her husband, who are great people) I attended a workshop run as part of the The Big Draw in King’s Place, with the wonderful Karrie Fransman.
I am still processing the events of the day, on which subject I will want to drone further. For the moment, though, this: for our final group exercise, we were each given a line from a story. My line (oh happy day) was:
