The Yellow Planet, a 24 page full colour comic intended for a older teenage or grown-up audience, tells a dystopic but darkly humorous tale of an alien finding the abandoned Earth many hundreds of years in the future. Her discoveries – a Yesso petrol station and a fun-size box of LocoPops – and how her culture interpret them, reveal more about our culture than hers, and the aliens have more in common with us than we might at first think.
The Yellow Planet is an imagined time capsule sent from the future to our present.
